Huntsville, AL – The first weekend of November will bring a brief taste of fall rain to North Alabama before dry and warmer weather returns early next week. According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, conditions will remain mostly dry through Saturday before showers develop late tonight into Sunday.

Rain chances are expected to range from 20% to 50%, mainly across northern and northeastern Alabama, with temperatures dipping into the lower 50s by Sunday. Overnight lows will hover in the 40s, keeping conditions seasonably cool.

By Monday, skies will clear as high pressure builds in, ushering in several days of sunshine and a gradual warming trend. Highs will rise from the mid-60s Monday to the low 70s by Wednesday, marking a mild and pleasant start to the new week.

The NWS says dry weather is expected to persist into midweek, making for ideal travel and outdoor conditions after the brief weekend rain.
