Huntsville, Alabama Weather: Patchy Fog Clears for a Warm, Mostly Sunny Weekend

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Drivers in Madison County woke up to fog and mist early Friday, with calm winds and temperatures in the mid-50s. The haze is expected to lift by mid-morning, giving way to a stretch of mild, mostly sunny weather through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Saturday and Sunday will bring highs in the low to mid-80s with light southeast winds. Nights will remain partly cloudy, with lows near 60 degrees. Conditions should stay ideal for outdoor plans, from college football tailgates to early fall festivals across North Alabama.

By Monday night, clouds will begin to increase ahead of a weak front. Showers could move into the area by Tuesday afternoon, bringing a 30 percent chance of rain and slightly higher humidity. Gusts may reach 20 mph at times, though no severe weather is expected.
