Huntsville, AL – North Alabama will enjoy a stretch of dry and gradually warming weather through midweek, starting with a cool Monday and ending with afternoon temperatures approaching 80 degrees by Wednesday. Forecasters say a weak disturbance may bring the area’s first chance of showers midweek, but most of the region stays quiet until late week.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Monday will deliver the coolest conditions of the week, with highs ranging from 63–67°F and lows dipping into the 40–50°F range under sunny skies. The cool start won’t last long, however, as warmer air begins building into the Tennessee Valley on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s temperatures climb noticeably, reaching 72–78°F during the afternoon with lows in the mid-50s to low 60s. Sunshine continues, and forecasters expect favorable travel and outdoor conditions as high pressure lingers over the Southeast.

By Wednesday, a more pronounced warm spell takes hold as highs reach 75–80°F, nearly 10 to 15 degrees above normal for mid-November. Patchy clouds increase during the day, and a 10–20% chance of showers develops late Wednesday into the evening hours. While the initial rain chances remain low, more substantial rain opportunities are likely to arrive later in the week as moisture deepens across the region.

Forecasters emphasize that no hazardous weather is expected early in the week, making this stretch an ideal window for travel, outdoor work, and seasonal preparations. Cooler air remains absent for now, and mild overnight lows will continue through midweek.

Residents across Madison County and the Tennessee Valley are encouraged to monitor updated forecasts as late-week rain chances become more defined.
