Huntsville, AL – Commuters in North Alabama are waking up to patchy fog this morning, with visibility reduced on some roadways. The National Weather Service in Huntsville advises drivers to slow down and avoid using high-beam headlights during their morning commute.
According to the National Weather Service, rain chances remain very low at 10 percent or less today and Tuesday across northeast Alabama. Conditions are expected to stay dry and warm through midweek before a slight cool-down moves in.
High temperatures will remain in the mid-80s through Wednesday, with lows around 60 degrees. By Thursday, cooler air is expected to bring daytime highs closer to the upper 70s, with nighttime lows dipping into the mid-50s. Friday will continue the trend with highs near 78 degrees.
The week’s forecast suggests relatively quiet weather, giving residents several dry days for outdoor activities. However, early morning fog could continue to cause travel issues, especially in low-lying areas.
Drivers across Madison, Limestone, and surrounding counties are urged to use caution during their morning commute and allow for extra time if traveling in fog-prone areas.
