Houston, Texas – Warm, quiet conditions will hold through tonight, but changes arrive quickly as rain chances begin increasing across southeast Texas early this week.
According to the National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston, overnight lows will settle into the low to mid-60s with patchy fog developing in areas like Conroe, Livingston, and near Galveston Bay. By Monday afternoon, temperatures will climb into the low to mid-80s across the region, including Houston, Sugar Land, and Katy.
Rain chances remain near zero Monday but begin increasing Tuesday, especially north of I-10, with probabilities climbing to 30–50% in cities like College Station, Huntsville, and Conroe. By Wednesday and Thursday, rain coverage expands further, with chances reaching 50–60% across much of southeast Texas.
High temperatures will remain warm early in the week, peaking in the mid to upper 80s, before gradually easing later in the week as cloud cover and rain become more persistent.
Drivers should watch for reduced visibility late tonight into early Monday due to patchy fog, particularly along I-45 and I-69. Keep rain gear handy by midweek as conditions turn more unsettled.
Rain chances continue through Friday, with additional updates expected as coverage and timing become clearer.
