Houston, TX – A dense fog advisory remains in effect for Houston until 10 a.m. Saturday, with visibility dropping as low as a quarter-mile in some areas. Drivers should use caution, especially on I-45 and the 610 Loop, as foggy conditions and light drizzle create hazardous travel.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are likely Saturday, especially in the afternoon, with a high near 75°F. Winds will shift from the south at 10–15 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Saturday night will bring a 20% chance of lingering showers, followed by cooler, drier air with a low near 42°F.

Sunday will be sunny but significantly cooler, with highs only reaching the mid-50s. Sunday night’s low will dip to 38°F. Washington’s Birthday on Monday remains clear and sunny with a high near 61°F. However, another storm system will bring rain chances back by Tuesday, with showers becoming likely in the evening.

Looking ahead, an arctic blast is expected to grip much of the U.S. next week, though Houston will remain above freezing. Stay updated on changing conditions and prepare for cooler weather in the days ahead.
