Texas wakes up quiet and mild along the Gulf Coast. Patchy fog lingers before sunrise across parts of Houston. Visibility may briefly dip in low-lying neighborhoods and along I-45. Temperatures sit in the mid-50s early this morning.

Sunshine quickly builds after daybreak. Highs reach near 71 degrees today with light southeast winds. The air feels comfortable and calm for mid-February.

The warming trend strengthens Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies push highs near 76 degrees. A steady south wind develops with occasional gusts near 20 mph. By Wednesday, February 18, temperatures surge to around 80 degrees. Thursday climbs even higher, near 83 degrees under partly sunny skies.

These readings run well above normal for February. Spring Vibes take hold across southeast Texas. No Snow, Freeze, or Ice Storm concerns are in sight. Unlike areas north of Texas, colder air stays far away.

Clouds increase slightly late week. A small 20 percent chance of showers appears Friday into early Saturday. Rain coverage looks limited for now. Highs ease back into the upper 70s Saturday, then near 70 by Sunday.

Looking into President’s Day Week and the 6–10 day outlook, above-normal warmth continues to dominate much of Texas. A brief cooldown may arrive next weekend, but no Polar Vortex pattern is expected.

Houston enjoys a classic February warm stretch. Fog early, sunshine by afternoon, and 80s by midweek. Stay weather-aware as small rain chances return later in the week.
