Warner Robins, GA – The Houston County Sheriff’s Office has launched its 2025 Annual Coat Drive, inviting residents to donate new coats and shoes for children in need across the county this winter.

According to Sheriff Matt Moulton, the program began in 2013 and has grown each year thanks to the support of the local community. Donations help ensure that children throughout Houston County stay warm and safe during the holiday season.

Coats will be distributed on Christmas Eve, December 24, during the annual Toys for Tots escort throughout the Houston County community. The Sheriff’s Office said 100 percent of all donations—both clothing and monetary—go directly toward purchasing new coats and shoes for local children.

Those wishing to contribute can drop off new coats or shoes at the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, located at 202 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Checks should be made payable to Houston County Sheriff’s Office Coat Drive and mailed to the same address.

Lieutenant Brett C. Sanders is coordinating the drive and can be reached at 478-808-7973 for questions or to arrange donations.

Sheriff Moulton thanked residents for their continued generosity, saying the department remains committed to “keeping our community’s children warm this holiday season.”
