Halsted St. Officers said a suspect armed with a firearm exited a silver SUV and approached the victim, who was walking back to the casino. The suspect allegedly cornered the victim and took his phone before fleeing northbound in the SUV.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities said the suspect’s vehicle exited the casino parking garage immediately after the robbery.
