Homewood, IL – A fatal traffic accident resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman on Friday night.
Homewood Police report that the incident occurred at approximately 7:54 PM on the 18500 block of Kedzie Avenue, involving a collision between a pedestrian and a northbound white Cadillac SUV. Despite immediate medical response, the young woman tragically succumbed to her injuries. The SUV’s driver was unharmed.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit and the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team (SMART).
