Homewood–Flossmoor, IL — The villages of Homewood and Flossmoor are once again teaming up to spread holiday cheer with the return of the HF Lights Tour on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Now in its second year, the popular event invites residents to climb aboard heated trolleys and enjoy a festive ride through both communities to view dazzling, holiday-decorated homes.
After an overwhelming response to last year’s inaugural tour, organizers have expanded the event by adding a third bus for each time slot, allowing more families to participate in the seasonal tradition. Two evening tour options are available, departing at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. from the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Goldberg Center, located at 3301 Flossmoor Rd., Flossmoor.
Each two-hour tour includes opportunities to purchase holiday treats from local vendors, with restrooms available only at the pickup and drop-off location. Reservations are required, and each signup may include up to four tickets. Participants must be at least 18 to register, with minors allowed only under adult supervision. Required waivers will be sent in advance.
