Hobart, IN – Authorities have identified the driver and vehicle responsible for the metal debris spill that disrupted traffic on 61st Avenue, State Road 51, and 10th Street on March 20. The Hobart Police Department confirmed the identification was made with the help of local businesses and LPR cameras.
At this time, no criminal charges have been filed, but police stated they will provide updates if charges are pursued. Officials are now working to assist motorists whose vehicles were damaged by the debris in filing claims for restitution.
