Highland, IN – The annual July 3rd parade will take place today, beginning with the All American Mile run at 6:30 p.m. The one-mile run starts from 40th and Kennedy Avenue and concludes at Main Square. Parade participants will perform at various locations, including St. James Church, Calvary Baptist Church, and several local streets and schools.

Additionally, Kennedy Avenue between 45th Street and Laporte Streets will close to traffic from 6:00 p.m. until the parade ends.
Dogs are prohibited in Main Square Park unless they are service animals. Bags and backpacks will be inspected upon entry, and no coolers or outside alcohol are allowed. The Highland Police Department wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July.
