Morris, IL – Two suspects were arrested on multiple charges after leading police on a high-speed chase exceeding 100 mph on Interstate 55 in Grundy County on August 1, 2024. The Grundy County Sheriff’s ProAct Unit attempted to stop a vehicle occupied by Dylan Schwartz, 34, of Braceville, and Lindsay Stark-Palmer, 31, of Braidwood. The vehicle sped northbound, eventually exiting near Gardner.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspects fled on foot after crashing in Braidwood. Schwartz faces charges including Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, while Stark-Palmer is charged with drug-related offenses. A stolen firearm and drugs were found in the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
