Spring Hill, FL – A Spring Hill man was arrested this week following an alleged burglary at Krueger Brewing Company, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 to the brewery on Commercial Way after reports of a break-in. Responding deputy Andrew Lewis reportedly saw a man wearing dark clothing and a backpack running toward a wooded area. A nearby bicycle and power tools believed to have been stolen from the business were later found near the scene.
Additional deputies and a K-9 team searched the area but did not immediately locate the suspect. Investigators later identified him as Nicholas Lee Courtright, 47, of Spring Hill.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives located Courtright the following day and showed him surveillance photos from the burglary. Courtright allegedly identified himself as the individual seen in the footage and claimed that a friend encouraged him to commit the break-in.
Courtright was arrested and charged with burglary and resisting an officer without violence. He was booked into the Hernando County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
