Heat Advisory in Effect: Arkansas Residents Warned of Rising Temperatures

Little Rock, AR – Arkansas is under a heat advisory or excessive heat warning for Wednesday, indicating a very hot and humid day ahead. Residents are urged to take precautions against heat-related illnesses. According to the US National Weather Service in Little Rock, temperatures will soar, creating potentially dangerous conditions.

For the rest of the week, Little Rock will experience continued high temperatures. Thursday’s forecast predicts a high of 98°F under clear skies. On Friday, there is a 50% chance of rain, with temperatures slightly cooling to a high of 91°F. The weekend will see mostly clear skies with highs of 90°F on Saturday and 91°F on Sunday. Temperatures will drop slightly on Monday with a high of 81°F under partly cloudy skies.

Residents should stay hydrated, avoid outdoor activities during peak heat, and check on vulnerable populations. The NWS advises everyone to remain vigilant and heed local weather updates.
