Hastings, NE – Central Nebraska residents can expect a stretch of calm and comfortable weather this week, with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures, according to the National Weather Service in Hastings.
Forecasters say highs will range from 61 to 74 degrees Sunday, with south-to-north winds between 5 and 20 mph. Conditions will remain dry through much of the week, providing ideal weather for outdoor plans and harvest activities.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will cool into the 50s and 60s on Monday, then rise again into the 60s and 70s for Tuesday before another cool-down midweek. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the 30s and 40s, especially by Wednesday night.
Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday should stay dry with highs in the 60s and lows continuing in the 30s and 40s. No major precipitation is expected through the end of the workweek.
Residents can expect another round of seasonable, sunny fall weather as Nebraska settles into early November.
