Deputies say the short chase began near the Eastex Freeway and Lee Road and ended at the 14200 block of the Eastex Freeway service road, when the fleeing suspect’s vehicle collided with the school bus. The pursuit reportedly lasted about five minutes.
EMS units were called to the scene. Four students were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, while the remaining 23 students were evaluated at the scene.
