Houston, Texas — Three Easter egg hunt events are scheduled across Houston this week, bringing family activities and community engagement to several local McDonald’s locations.

According to a Facebook post from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, community partners at the Soudagar Organization are hosting multiple Easter-themed events for families during the final week of March.

The first event will take place Wednesday, March 25, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 530 Maxey Road in Houston.

Two additional events are scheduled for Sunday, March 30:

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 9411 Jensen Drive
  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 3971 Barker Cypress Road

Organizers say each event will include photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, games, prizes, and an Easter egg hunt for children.

The egg hunt portion of the event is expected to occur during the final 15 minutes of each scheduled gathering, according to event organizers.

Families attending will also have the option to purchase $3 Happy Meals during the events, organizers said.

Community events like these often draw families from surrounding neighborhoods and provide a safe setting for children to participate in seasonal activities. Local officials say such gatherings can help strengthen connections between businesses, residents, and community organizations.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office encouraged residents to bring family members and participate in the activities, highlighting the events as opportunities for community engagement.

For younger students and teens finishing school or part-time work shifts, the evening and weekend event times may make it easier to attend.

More information about the events can be obtained through event organizers.
