Gainesville, GA — A man previously featured in Hall County’s Wanted Wednesday program is now in custody following a Friday morning arrest that included multiple new felony warrants.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Warrant Service Unit arrested Jose Hipolito Ventura, 29, of Gainesville, on Friday, January 16, in the 3100 block of Wallace Road.
Ventura had been featured in the November 19, 2025, edition of Wanted Wednesday, where authorities were seeking him on a felony probation violation. Since that time, investigators say Ventura allegedly picked up additional warrants tied to a December 6, 2025, incident.
Those new charges include aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act, aggravated stalking, and interference with custody, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the December incident.
In November, Ventura was wanted for felony probation violation, stemming from original charges that included two counts of violating the Georgia Dangerous Drugs Act and driving with a suspended license, officials said.
Ventura was taken into custody without incident and remains held pending court proceedings. Jail and bond information has not yet been released.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office continues to use its Wanted Wednesday program to locate individuals with active warrants and encourages residents to report tips. Anyone with information related to wanted persons can contact authorities directly.
