Gurnee, IL – A Round Lake Beach man is in critical condition following a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on Grand Avenue in Gurnee.

According to the Gurnee Police Department, the accident occurred at approximately 7:20 PM on Thursday near Dilley’s Road. The 57-year-old motorcyclist was ejected from his Kawasaki and suffered severe injuries. He was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center for treatment. 

The Toyota SUV, driven by a 51-year-old Gurnee woman, turned left into a parking lot and struck the motorcycle traveling westbound. No other injuries were reported. 

The investigation is ongoing.
