Griffith, IN – The Canadian National Railroad has informed the Griffith Police Department of an emergency repair that will necessitate the closure of the railroad crossing at 300 E Main St, located between Indiana St and Wood St.

This significant closure will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, and is expected to last for approximately 12 hours. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure.
