Greenwood Home Struck by Gunfire; Delaware State Police Investigating

GREENWOOD, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating after a Greenwood residence was struck by gunfire early Wednesday morning.

Troopers were called to the 14000 block of Staytonville Road around 8:10 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2025, after homeowners reported bullet holes in the residence. According to investigators, an unknown suspect fired several shots from a vehicle during the overnight hours, striking the home.

Two adults and a child were inside when the gunfire occurred, but no injuries were reported.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the case. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Detective L. Coleman at (302) 752-3813.
