Greenville, SC – Deputies in Greenville County are investigating a late-night shooting after a gunshot victim was found on Furman Hall Road on Sunday. The incident prompted a quick emergency response after dispatchers received a 911 call reporting the shooting around 9:35 p.m.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville County Communications alerted deputies to a gunshot victim at 300 Furman Hall Road. When law enforcement arrived, they located an individual suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. No additional details regarding the victim’s condition have been released.
Investigators say no suspect has been identified at this time, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear. Deputies conducted an initial canvass of the area and are working to gather witness statements, potential surveillance footage and further information that may help determine what led to the gunfire.
