Greenville County, SC: Deputies Respond to Early Sunday Morning Shooting

Greenville, SC – Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting early Sunday morning that left one man hospitalized, according to investigators.

According to the sheriff’s office, the call came in at approximately 12:04 a.m. for a reported shooting at 1101 Woodside Avenue in Greenville. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Authorities have not released the man’s age or any details about what may have led to the shooting.

Deputies said the victim was transported to a local hospital, and his condition remains unknown as of Sunday morning. No suspect information has been released, and investigators have not indicated whether the shooting is believed to be targeted or random.
