Greenville, SC – Deputies in Greenville County arrested a 50-year-old woman Monday afternoon following a stabbing and burglary on Hill Lane in Mauldin, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, the incident occurred around 12:18 p.m. when Greenville County Communications received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at 122 Hill Lane. Responding deputies found the victim suffering from at least one stab wound. The individual was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

Deputies say Shelina Yeargin was located nearby and taken into custody after an investigation revealed she allegedly broke into multiple residences on Hill Lane. Authorities report Yeargin then allegedly stabbed the homeowner and threatened another resident. Investigators believe the suspect and victim were familiar with one another.

Yeargin has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, burglary 1st degree, and burglary 2nd degree. She was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center, where she awaits a bond hearing.
