Greeneville, TN – A Greene County Grand Jury has indicted a local man on more than 50 felony counts involving child sexual exploitation and assault, following a months-long investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to investigators, the case began earlier this year after cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reportedly linked online activity to the suspect. Authorities say they later identified the man as a Greene County resident who was previously arrested in September on similar charges related to the alleged sexual exploitation of minors.

The new indictment, handed down Monday, includes:

  • Aggravated Rape of a Child (3 counts)
  • Aggravated Sexual Battery (9 counts)
  • Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (13 counts)
  • Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (5 counts, totaling more than 450 images)
  • Sexual Activity with an Animal (21 counts)

Detectives allege that hundreds of illegal images were recovered during forensic analysis of the suspect’s electronic devices, and that two minors were allegedly exploited in his care.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department said the suspect remains in custody at the Greene County Detention Center with bond now totaling $1.2 million. He is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on November 26, 2025, at 9 a.m.
