Wisconsin wakes up to thick fog and a sharp chill across Green Bay, where visibility drops to a quarter mile in spots. Headlights glow in the mist, and slick patches could develop as temperatures hover near 27 degrees.

Patchy fog lingers through mid-morning before skies turn mostly cloudy. Highs climb to 44 degrees with a light northeast wind increasing to 13 mph. Roads remain damp in places, so drivers should stay alert on I-43 and Highway 41.

Rain becomes steady late today and continues into tonight. Temperatures hold around 40 degrees this evening, but conditions grow more complicated farther north. The National Weather Service warns that freezing rain, sleet, and snow will create hazardous travel across northern Wisconsin late tonight.

By Wednesday, rain chances taper to scattered showers before partial clearing. Highs reach near 50 degrees. Still, slick spots may linger early where colder air hangs on.

Attention turns to Thursday night. Another system approaches, bringing rain that transitions to a rain and snow mix after midnight. Lows fall to 34 degrees. By Friday morning, rain and snow are likely, with highs only near 38 degrees. Slushy roads and reduced visibility could slow the commute.

As temperatures dip into the 20s Friday night, watch for flash freezing. Melted snow can refreeze quickly on bridges and untreated roads.

Saturday brings a slight chance of snow with highs near 33. Sunday stays colder, with highs near 28 under partly sunny skies.

Looking ahead, the 6–10 day outlook favors above-normal temperatures returning by early next week. A gradual warming trend from Monday into late February hints at early spring warmth edging closer. Are you noticing icy spots in your neighborhood today?
