Wisconsin’s gray sky is already pressing low over Green Bay, and steady rain is soaking pavement as thunderstorms begin to move through the region. Roads are turning slick, and water is starting to collect in low spots.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms are expected through the day, with small hail possible in stronger cells. Elevated river levels continue, with minor flooding ongoing along the Wolf River and additional runoff expected.

Temperatures rise to around 68°F, but conditions will feel damp and unsettled. Showers and storms will continue through the afternoon, reducing visibility along I-41 and Highway 172. Plan for slower travel and sudden downpours.

Rain remains a factor into the evening, with widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms. Some areas could see heavier rainfall totals, especially where storms repeat over the same locations.

Monday offers only a brief break, with highs near 72°F and a mix of clouds and patchy sun. However, the atmosphere stays primed for more rain.

By Tuesday, storm chances increase again, with highs near 67°F and a 40% chance of showers during the day, rising to 60% into the evening. Some storms could produce stronger wind gusts and heavier rain.

Wednesday continues the unsettled trend, with highs in the low 60s and a 30–60% chance of showers. Repeated rainfall may push rivers higher, especially along the Menominee River basin, where flooding could develop.

Looking ahead, this active spring pattern keeps northeast Wisconsin locked into rounds of rain and storm chances through midweek. Warmer temperatures are expected later in the week, signaling a gradual shift toward more typical spring conditions.

Keep rain gear handy and avoid flooded areas. Driving today? Watch for standing water and sudden visibility drops. What conditions are you seeing near you?
