Green Bay, Wis. – Drivers across northeast Wisconsin may face patchy fog and slick spots Tuesday morning as low visibility lingers before scattered sprinkles and light showers move through in the afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a 20% chance of showers will develop Tuesday between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., with fog reforming overnight into early Wednesday. Visibility could drop below a quarter mile at times, especially near the Fox River Valley and along Highway 41.

Wednesday morning may bring a few sprinkles before conditions gradually clear. Sunshine returns by late afternoon with highs near 77, offering a brief stretch of calmer weather. Winds will remain light but could shift from the north to northeast through midweek.

The dry trend strengthens Thursday into Friday, when mostly sunny skies and highs climbing into the lower 80s are expected. However, a slight chance of thunderstorms reappears Friday night, particularly west of Green Bay, which could affect outdoor plans heading into the weekend.

Residents are urged to drive cautiously in fog, use headlights, and allow extra travel time during the morning commute.
