Green Bay, WI. – Drivers across northeast Wisconsin should watch for patchy fog developing tonight, reducing visibility in rural areas and near Lake Michigan. Conditions will clear by morning, setting up a stretch of quiet and warm weather to start the week.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, highs will climb into the lower 80s Monday and Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures near the lakeshore will remain a few degrees cooler, holding in the 70s.
By Wednesday afternoon, however, a shift arrives with a 20 to 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms spreading across the region. Storms are possible into Wednesday night, with scattered rain chances lingering into Thursday. While widespread severe weather is not expected at this time, brief downpours and lightning could slow evening travel.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the mild weather early in the week but to prepare for changing conditions midweek by checking updated forecasts and allowing extra time for commutes.
More updates will be issued if storm chances increase heading into Wednesday.
