Green Bay, WI – A return to more typical fall weather is expected across northeast Wisconsin to close out the weekend and carry into the first half of next week. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay, temperatures will trend seasonal while a quick-moving system brings a chance for light snow Monday night.

Sunday will feature calm, fall-like conditions with highs in the mid-40s under partly cloudy skies. Lows drop into the 30s Sunday night before clouds increase Monday ahead of the next disturbance.

According to NWS, a 30–50% chance of light snow exists Monday night, with many locations potentially seeing a dusting. The window for snowfall appears brief, and accumulations — if any — are expected to remain minimal. The greatest chance for flakes extends across Green Bay, the Fox Valley, Door County, and north-central Wisconsin.

As temperatures rise Tuesday, any lingering precipitation is expected to change over to rain. Highs will climb into the upper 30s to lower 40s, gradually warming enough to reduce wintry impacts. Roads may become briefly slick early Tuesday if snow arrives overnight, but overall travel disruptions should remain limited.

Wednesday is expected to offer a break in precipitation with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the low-to-mid 40s. Winds remain light as a larger pattern shift sets the stage for the next system approaching late next week.

NWS notes that additional model updates will help clarify precipitation timing and type heading into the second half of the week.
