Green Bay, Wis. – Drivers across northeast and north-central Wisconsin could face reduced visibility late tonight into Saturday morning as patchy dense fog forms across the region. Motorists are urged to use caution on highways including I-43 and Highway 41, especially during early morning hours.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, dense fog will be possible through Saturday morning, with additional foggy conditions expected at times into next week. Visibility could fall below a quarter-mile in spots, particularly in low-lying areas and near rivers.

Communities from Marinette and Florence to Green Bay and Manitowoc may wake to thick morning fog, creating hazardous travel conditions. Law enforcement and emergency officials recommend allowing extra time for commutes and using low-beam headlights to stay visible.
