Green Bay, WI – Windy conditions will impact much of northeast and north-central Wisconsin today as a quiet but gradually warming weather pattern settles in for the remainder of the workweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, northwest winds will gust between 20 and 30 mph today, especially during the morning and early afternoon hours. These winds will occur under mostly cloudy skies, contributing to brisk conditions across the region.

A low chance of lake-effect snow, estimated between 15 and 25 percent, exists for parts of far north-central Wisconsin. Any snow showers that develop are expected to be light and spotty, with minimal accumulation. Brief reductions in visibility may occur, particularly along travel corridors such as US-51, WI-32, and rural secondary roads, but widespread travel impacts are not anticipated.

High temperatures today will range from 27 to 38 degrees, depending on location. Wind chills will feel colder at times due to the gusty northwest winds, especially in open and exposed areas.

Looking ahead, the National Weather Service reports a quiet stretch of weather through the rest of the workweek. Wednesday will feature partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-20s to mid-30s. By Thursday and Friday, cloud cover decreases further, and temperatures continue a gradual warming trend, with highs reaching the upper 30s to mid-40s by Friday.

Road conditions along major routes such as Interstate 41, I-43, WI-29, and US-10 are expected to remain generally good after today, with no significant precipitation expected mid to late week.

Commuters, students, and outdoor workers should prepare for gusty winds today but can expect improving comfort and calmer conditions as the week progresses.

Forecast updates will continue as conditions evolve.
