Green Bay, WI – Warm weather will persist throughout the weekend, with a cold front bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms starting late tonight into Sunday. The National Weather Service in Green Bay has indicated that the area can expect these storm conditions to continue into Monday night.

According to the US National Weather Service, locally heavy rain is possible across central and east-central Wisconsin Monday afternoon and evening. Cooler temperatures are also anticipated on Monday, offering a brief respite from the weekend heat. Today’s highs will range between 83-89°F, dropping to 77-87°F on Sunday, with an increased likelihood of thunderstorms by the evening.

For those planning boating activities, mostly sunny skies will prevail today, but boaters are advised to remain vigilant for sudden weather changes on Sunday and Sunday night. Winds will be moderate, with 5 knots from the northwest today and shifting to the east/northeast by Sunday.

The outlook for Monday includes a significant 60% chance of rain with temperatures peaking at 74°F. Rainfall amounts between 1-2 inches are possible. Tuesday will also see some rain, albeit with a lower chance of 35%, and highs around 74°F. The weather will clear up by Wednesday, bringing sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s.
