Green Bay, WI – Showers will develop across much of northeast Wisconsin after midnight and continue into early Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay. Rainfall totals are expected to remain under a quarter inch, though areas near Lake Michigan could see slightly higher amounts.

Behind the system, gusty northwest winds are forecast throughout Sunday, with gusts up to 35 mph, especially near the lakeshore. The weather service said winds will persist from sunrise through sunset before easing late in the evening.

After a cool and breezy Sunday with highs in the upper 40s to upper 50s, a brief warm-up is expected Monday, when highs may reach the upper 50s to low 60s before another system brings more rain and cooler air Monday night into Tuesday.

Travelers should watch for slick roads overnight and early Sunday morning, particularly in coastal and rural areas.
