Green Bay, WI – A calm and cool night is expected across northeast Wisconsin as mostly clear skies allow temperatures to drop into the upper 20s and 30s overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
Forecasters say patchy fog may form late tonight, especially north and west of the Fox Valley, including areas near Rhinelander, Wausau, and Land O’ Lakes. The fog could lead to reduced visibility for early-morning travelers on Sunday.
Lows are forecast to reach around 28°F in Florence and Wausaukee, near 33°F in Wausau, and around 40°F closer to Lake Michigan in Manitowoc and Sturgeon Bay. Temperatures will moderate slightly by Sunday afternoon under continued dry and mostly sunny conditions.
Drivers heading out early should use caution on rural and low-lying roads, where fog may linger through sunrise. The next chance of rain isn’t expected until midweek as a new system approaches from the west.
