Green Bay, WI – Wisconsinites are getting a taste of summer in early October as a warm, sunny stretch arrives this week. Highs will push into the 80s by Friday, October 3rd, with bright skies making it a perfect setup for outdoor plans and early Halloween decorating.

According to the National Weather Service, Green Bay will see a gradual warming trend beginning Wednesday. By Friday, temperatures could climb as high as 85 degrees, a rare boost for October. Residents should stay hydrated if working outside and take advantage of the unusually pleasant fall weather before rain returns next week.

Wednesday will bring partly sunny skies with a high near 76. Winds will remain light out of the east-southeast at 3 to 8 mph. Thursday looks even warmer, topping out near 80 under mostly sunny conditions. Friday is expected to be the week’s peak, with full sunshine and temperatures near 85.

Looking ahead, Saturday will mirror Friday’s warmth, making for an ideal day to enjoy fall sports or set up Halloween displays. Sunday will still be sunny with a high near 82, though showers may return late into the evening. Rain chances increase Monday and Tuesday, with scattered showers forecast but highs holding in the 70s.

Residents planning travel on I-41 or Highway 172 should see smooth driving conditions through Sunday, with no major weather hazards expected until next week.
