Green Bay, Wisconsin – Below-normal temperatures will continue across northeast and central Wisconsin through the weekend, with multiple chances for light snow before a noticeable warm-up next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, dry conditions are expected Friday, followed by a round of light snow developing Saturday. Forecast guidance suggests Saturday’s snowfall will likely be minor, with accumulations generally around a dusting to one inch.

Another system is expected to move in Sunday and Sunday night, bringing a higher potential for snow across the region. While snowfall amounts remain uncertain, forecasters indicate Sunday’s system could produce more accumulation than Saturday’s event.

High temperatures through the weekend are expected to remain below seasonal averages, with daytime highs mainly in the teens and 20s Friday, gradually rising into the upper 20s and low 30s by Sunday. Overnight lows are forecast to remain in the single digits to teens across much of the area.

Looking ahead, the National Weather Service reports a significant warming trend early next week. Temperatures are expected to rise approximately 10 to 15 degrees above normal, bringing daytime highs into the mid to upper 30s, and possibly low 40s in some locations.

The changing conditions may impact weekend travel, especially during periods of snowfall Saturday and Sunday, before improving with warmer temperatures next week.
