Green Bay, WI – Northeast Wisconsin will see a frosty start to the weekend before warmer temperatures return, according to the US National Weather Service Green Bay.
A Freeze Warning is in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday for the Fox Valley east to Lake Michigan, as overnight lows fall into the upper 20s and low 30s. Residents are urged to protect plants and sensitive outdoor vegetation from the cold.
Highs will remain below normal through Friday, reaching the upper 40s to low 50s, before rebounding over the weekend. Saturday will see temperatures near 56°F, with Sunday bringing the warmest conditions — highs in the upper 50s to near 60°F under mostly sunny skies.
Light rain or a few snowflakes were possible early Thursday in far northern areas but are expected to end by midday. The next chance for precipitation returns Monday as the region transitions into a milder pattern.
