Green Bay, WI – After an early round of snow exits eastern Wisconsin this morning, two more systems are on the way that could make travel difficult through midweek. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay reports that 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected Monday night into Tuesday morning, with another potentially stronger system likely late Tuesday into Wednesday.

Light snow will redevelop along the lakeshore Monday afternoon and spread across much of northern Wisconsin through the evening. Roads and bridges may quickly become slick as temperatures remain below freezing overnight.

“Another more potent system may bring impactful snowfall to Wisconsin next Tuesday into Wednesday,” forecasters said. “Keep an eye on the forecast as details become clearer, especially if you have travel plans.”

The NWS expects light to moderate snow to continue through much of Wednesday, possibly mixing with freezing rain or sleet near the Fox Valley.

Drivers are urged to plan ahead for slower travel and reduced visibility, particularly during the Tuesday morning and Wednesday commutes.
