Green Bay, Wis. – Temperatures across much of Wisconsin could soar into the upper 80s Monday, marking the hottest day of 2025 so far for areas away from Lake Michigan.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, showers and thunderstorms will clear out Friday night, paving the way for a warm, mostly dry weekend. Highs will range from the low 70s near the lakeshore to upper 80s inland, especially Monday, which could see widespread heat across Green Bay, Appleton, Wausau, and the Fox Valley.
Dry and sunny skies are expected Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures climbing steadily. Areas like Madison and Stevens Point may hit near-record warmth. However, relief won’t last long—rain and thunderstorms are likely to return Tuesday and could linger into Wednesday. Widespread showers and possible strong storms could disrupt commutes and outdoor plans across central and eastern Wisconsin.
Residents are urged to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours Monday, and monitor updates as storms approach next week.
Rain chances increase significantly Tuesday into Wednesday, with the next update expected late Sunday as forecasts evolve.
