Green Bay, WI – Lingering light snow across east-central Wisconsin will taper off over the next few hours, with any accumulation melting quickly as temperatures begin a steady warm-up into the mid and upper 40s for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Highs Wednesday will reach 39–43 degrees, with areas of morning fog lingering in spots. Any snow remaining on roads or grassy surfaces is expected to disappear as temperatures climb.

On Thursday, forecasters expect scattered rain showers to move across the region. In north-central Wisconsin, a brief rain/snow mix is possible during the morning before transitioning to all rain as highs warm into the 41–50 degree range.

Friday and Saturday bring continued mild conditions with highs between 38–48 degrees, along with partly to mostly cloudy skies. No significant winter weather is expected during this period.

The warm stretch should help melt any residual snow from earlier in the week and create easier travel conditions for late-week commuters.
