According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay, the most likely area for the heaviest snowfall extends from Wausau to Green Bay to Kewaunee. However, the location of the snow band may shift. Snowfall rates could reach 1 inch per hour at times, creating hazardous travel conditions.
The snow will be light and fluffy, increasing the chances of blowing and drifting. NWS advises residents to monitor forecasts and adjust or cancel travel plans as needed. Slippery roads, reduced visibility, and travel disruptions are likely.
Drivers should use caution and prepare for winter weather conditions. Those in the affected areas should have emergency kits in their vehicles.
