Marion, IN – A coordinated narcotics investigation led to the seizure of more than 300 fentanyl pills and two arrests in Grant County, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives with the JEAN Team Drug Task Force, working alongside the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Marion Police Department ERT, and the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a search warrant on October 9, 2025, at a residence in the 3000 block of Gallatin Street in Marion. The operation targeted suspected fentanyl distribution in the area.

Authorities reported that Pamashae A. Fields, 22, and Kiler H. Mullenix, 25, were taken into custody and booked into the Grant County Jail on multiple Level 2 felony charges of dealing in narcotics. During the search, investigators recovered approximately 304 fentanyl pills marked “M30,” weighing about 35 grams, along with powder fentanyl and additional evidence linked to drug trafficking.

Detectives say the arrests stem from an ongoing effort to combat fentanyl distribution throughout Marion and surrounding Grant County communities, where overdose concerns remain high. Sheriff’s officials praised the teamwork between local and county agencies in disrupting a supply chain that could have endangered more residents.

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information on illegal drug activity is encouraged to contact the JEAN Team Drug Task Force at (765) 664-0019. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
