Glen Ellyn, Ill. — The Glen Ellyn Park District shared on July 1 that they would be taking resident input on future toddler equipment at Panfish Park. The open house will be on Wednesday, June 9.

Panfish Park is a recently opened park in Glen Ellyn that was previously the property of a US Bank. The park design was created in 2023 and open for community feedback. It officially opened on June 12 for public use. The park has been a celebration of the collaboration between the Village of Glen Ellyn and the Glen Ellyn Park District as they share responsibilities for enhancing the park space.

The grand opening included a public art dedication for “Enclosure,” a new public art display featured at the park. Along with the “Enclosure” art piece, the park features a new playground.

Glen Ellyn Park District is now opening the potential for future toddler equipment at Panfish Park. Residents who would like to contribute feedback to future designs can attend the open house on Wednesday, July 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Police Station. No RSVP is needed for this event.
