Glasgow, MT – A brief warmup is underway across eastern Montana as a ridge of high pressure brings mostly dry and pleasant weather into the weekend, according to the US National Weather Service Glasgow, Montana.
Friday and Saturday will feature partly cloudy skies with highs ranging from the low 60s to low 70s and overnight lows in the mid-30s to mid-40s. Sunday remains mild, with highs near 60°F before a cold front begins moving through the region Sunday night.
That front will bring a few isolated rain showers Sunday night into Monday, followed by a noticeable cool-down. Highs early next week will range from the mid-40s to upper 50s, with lows dipping into the 20s and 30s under partly cloudy skies.
After Monday’s brief system, drier and more seasonable weather is expected to return midweek, keeping temperatures steady in the 50s and 60s.
Residents can expect a calm, comfortable weekend before a quick transition back to typical late-October chill.
