Glasgow, MT – Northeast Montana will see a wide range of temperatures today as lingering light rain and snow end this morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Glasgow.
Afternoon highs will vary dramatically across the region — upper 20s near Plentywood to around 50°F in Winnett, with most areas in the 30s and low 40s. Behind the departing system, colder air will pour in tonight, bringing overnight lows in the single digits across the far northeast corner of the state and lower 20s near Zortman and Winnett.
Skies are expected to clear later today, allowing for efficient cooling overnight. Sunday morning will feel especially cold for early November, with wind chills near or below zero possible in northern areas.
No additional precipitation is expected after this morning, but travelers should be alert for slick spots where snow or rain has recently fallen.
