Glasgow, MT – Northeast Montana is in for a stretch of unseasonably warm and dry weather this week, with temperatures running well above normal through at least Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Glasgow.
Forecasters say highs will range from the upper 40s Tuesday to near 70°F by Thursday, as mostly sunny skies and mild air dominate the region. Wednesday and Friday will bring a few clouds and breezy west winds, but conditions are expected to remain dry.
“Temperatures will remain above normal for the next several days,” the NWS said, noting that Thursday may be the warmest day of the week, with highs climbing into the mid- to upper 60s before slightly cooler weather returns for the weekend.
Overnight lows will generally stay in the 20s and 30s, keeping mornings crisp before sunshine quickly warms afternoons. The forecast calls for mostly clear skies through Saturday, offering ideal late-fall conditions for travel and outdoor activities.
No precipitation is expected until early next week, when a weak system could bring cooler air back into the region.
