Atlanta, GA – Two cold fronts are expected to move through north and central Georgia over the next few days, bringing seasonable fall temperatures and dry conditions, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

The first front will pass through overnight, followed by a secondary dry cold front midweek. These systems will keep temperatures mild by day and cool by night, with morning lows dipping into the 40s—the coolest readings so far this season for much of the region.

Highs will remain in the low to mid-70s through the week, while cooler mountain areas could see overnight lows near the upper 30s. Forecasters expect mostly clear skies and low humidity, providing ideal fall conditions across Georgia.

The National Weather Service notes that no significant rain is forecast, and temperatures will stay 5–10 degrees cooler than average in some northern locations before a gradual warm-up heading into the weekend.
